Cbanker says inflation slows down in June due to early harvest
ST.PETERSBURG, Jul 3 (PRIME) – The June slowdown of inflation was triggered by a good weather which accelerated harvesting of vegetables, First Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Bank Ksenia Yudayeva told reporters on Wednesday.
“Concerning the June inflation, I think what we see now is to a large degree early seasonality. A chance factor, which can occur in various situations,” Yudayeva said.
She said that the factor can continue in July but is short-term and “needs to be treated correspondingly.”
